This is a highly visible and impactful role.
The HR Associate will hold a position with a high-profile presence in our office and throughout the entire company.
They will be responsive and attentive to the needs of their coworkers with a focus on those team members who are non-English speakers.
They will assist with various HR responsibilities and other team and company initiatives.
The HR Associate will also have a great opportunity to grow and advance within the Human Resources Dept.
They will be coached, mentored, and trained by the company's HR Director and will have opportunities to advance within the department.
Primary Functions/Tasks Associated:
Interface and assist our non-speaking team members, interpret, and translate when needed.
Visit our yard facilities and frontline associates on a regular basis.
HR Functions Include:
Provide general support to the HR department, including learning company policies and benefits, answering employee questions, and completing special projects as needed.
Learn and answer questions about company policies and procedures.
Advises associates and managers on organizational policy issues and recommends needed changes.
Maintains documentation for the Human Resources and other support departments, as necessary.
Prepares, processes, and files new hire paperwork.
Handle confidential and non-routine information.
Updates and maintains copies of Job Descriptions and job postings.
Learn to support the HR team in areas such as onboarding, performance management, career advancement, offboarding, and company events.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $80,000 per year Salary Range:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
